Land Dedication & Thank You Service

Saturday, March 4th the faculty and students of Lanna Christian Center held a thank you service for our surrounding neighbors. We were celebrating over 11 years of community relationship and service. Personal thanks were given and many of our neighbors took the opportunity to speak as well. Members of the community and the village council attended the morning service and stayed for lunch. In Thailand it is very much a relationship, relationship, relationship culture. We are thankful to have positive relationships with our neighbors and endeavor to reach out in the community and continue to build those relationships.

In the afternoon, we gathered together to worship and thank the Lord for the new property, dedicating the land to the Kingdom of God. LCC Board Member Walter Ridgely from North Thailand Christian Mission gave an inspiring message. Others delivering short messages of congratulations and prayers of dedication included: David Moffitt, elder from Cross Roads Christian Church Grand Prairie, TX; Mike Flinchum SEACS; Virgilio de los Santos, SALT ministry; Don Womack CMO Board and LCC Board; David Filbeck President LCC, CMO mission. It was a wonderful service of worship in celebration and dedication to the Lord. Thank you all for your participation and prayer for this milestone event in the ministry of LCC.

Summer Break Outreach Teams

That's right, its summer time in Thailand. After finals week, teams head out to 5 different locations for outreach over the summer break (March 27-May 15th). Please lift these teams, their co-coordinators and leaders in prayer as they share the ministry of Christ with others. **Not pictured is the Team to the Lisu Villages in Mae Hong Son

LCC Board Meeting

Special thanks to the Board Members who faithfully come to guide and direct the ministry of LCC in Southeast Asia. This year the annual board meeting was held March 6-7 at the LCC campus. David A. Filbeck gave a report on the state of Lanna Christian Center. The board established a committee to meet with David Forester from Helps International to develop a Master Plan for the new campus. The committee members are David A. Filbeck, Rick Walden, and Walter Ridgely.

Prayer Requests

PTL! For the land dedication and thank you service. Continue prayer as David has begun meetings with Architects and building plans have begun.
Wisdom, guidance, and protection as teams head out for ministry, and that lives may be transformed by Christ.
Preparations for the new semester beginning in May.
Interns from the US to work with LCC this summer in the LIFE program. Interns have a vital role to play in the outreach programs and often open doors for building bridges with local churches and new contacts.
